Grammar values

Every value pos, match, fields and the grammar parameters take.

pos

/lookup and /random take one part of speech: verb, noun, adj, phrase, name, adv, abbrev, adv_phrase, prefix, suffix, intj, pron, conj, prep, prep_phrase, symbol, character, article, num, affix, particle. adjective is read as adj. adverb is read as adv.

match

• exact

  Only the records q heads.

• form

  Only the lemma q is a form of, and any record that lists q among its forms.

• any

  Both. The default when match is absent.

fields

/lookup takes a comma list of sections: definitions, examples, forms, etymology, synonyms, antonyms, derived, pronunciation. pronunciation returns pronunciations. The rest of a result is always returned.

Grammar

mood, tense, person, gender and number take these Italian labels, and read the English codes beside them as the same.
